NuRoots, from L.A.’s Jewish Federation, helps young adults find and build community across Los Angeles. For Infinite Light 2020, our sixth annual citywide Hanukkah festival, we’re collaborating with community members and amazing local organizations—East Side Jews, Honeymoon Israel, J.Q. International, Moishe House, OneTable, Repair the World and Trybal Gatherings—plus our own Nazarian Iranian Young Leadership Initiative, to reimagine the holiday with creativity and expansive community making.

Hanukkah is a story of miracles—the miracle of light, the miracle of hope, the miracle of our resilience. Timely concepts! This year, we’re all about highlighting the miracles in our daily lives: the magic of this community, the blessing of being able to gather together virtually, and our continued ability to feel joy, to love, and to laugh.
