The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles leads and convenes 365 days a year, and especially in times of crisis. We are strongest when we work together, support each other, and share what we are each doing. Our website is a hub for continued resources for our community.

As the young adult engagement initiative of the Federation, NuRoots is here for you. Our Federation is staying on top of our community's short- and long-term challenges connected to the COVID-19 crisis. We are ready and prepared to get through this together.

Our Community Call Line is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you or someone you know needs access to social services, including financial assistance via our Max Factor Family Foundation Financial Assistance Network, please call our Community Call Line at 323-761-8305.

Additionally, through Jewish Free Loan Association, you can get free, no-interest loans to cover expenses related to COVID-19. Learn more.

Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles’ SOVA is now providing prepackaged bags of food to clients instead of allowing clients to choose their food items, to minimize the risk to both clients and volunteers. The J.F.S. senior nutrition program is now providing all food via delivery. To reach J.F.S. Central Access, call 877-275-4537.
